Where urban scripture meets sound
Sigils in Transit (SiT) is a collaborative music project and growing collective founded by Erik Buene (formerly known as Scope). While Erik remains the primary creative driver and curator, SiT is built around the idea of shared authorship. Music developed through long-term collaboration rather than isolated features.
SiT is intentionally designed to grow into a broader collective, where artists don't simply "feature," but participate in an ongoing creative language. Some contributors appear once, others return and become part of the foundation. The aim is continuity, not turnover—building a body of work that feels shared, cohesive, and alive, even as new voices enter.
Not a traditional band, but more than a solo project. Structured enough to form identity, open enough to invite commitment, and grounded in collaboration as a long-term practice.
This album is an expansion of a single origin piece, The Alchemist's Tongue. Every track emerges as a conceptual or symbolic echo from that first song, creating a self-contained cosmology where each track reflects a line, image, or concept from the original, deepens the mythology introduced, and refuses resolution—always unfolding, looping, evolving.
Repetition, layering, erasure, reappearance
Poetry in decay, sacred in survival
Shifting under observation, rewriting when seen
Rhymes as keys, not entertainment
Unstable finance, broken signals, flickering data
One persona, many voices—virtual, shifting, unstable
